Gavin-

This is gonna sound strange, but since you know Mr. Gibbons, I would be delighted to know if he ever owned a 1968 Fender Telecaster that he traded for a custom Harley Davidson paint job by a guy in Florida… probably in the 1970s – early 1980s. The gentleman who owned this guitar just passed away, but he had told my mother-in-law that’s how he acquired the guitar. His shop was called “Unauthorized Harley’s. Probably just a fun story he made up, but i’d think it was pretty amazing since the guitar is now in my position.

Bo Huff is a f**king legend. we called in at his place in 06 on the way from Hot Agust Nights to Sturgis. Really nice guy, showed us his work shop which is really old school and then showed us his shed/manspace. The memorabilia he has is awsome. Behind that was 2 paddocks of pre 1960 cars. he reckoned there were over 300 cars there. He’s a real deal rockabilly from the day. great builder and a great guy.
